- Ultimate: $3, or $2 with a setup
- Strive: $2
- Fantasy Strike: Free
A discount is received if a full Smash Ultimate setup is brought to the tournament. This includes:
- Power Cord
- LEGAL GameCube Adapter (no third party adapters except Mayflash and PG)
Ultimate will be streamed by one of these channels every week:
CAPS AND REGISTRATION
- Ultimate - 64
- Strive - none
- FS - none
Each event will be preregistration only. Preregistration will open every Wednesday at 6 PM. If all 64 spots for Ultimate are filled, then spots for the waitlist will open. It is recommended to sign up for the waitlist ONLY if Ultimate is full, as there are about 5-7 entrants who drop each week.
If a player signs up for a capped tournament, that player is expected to follow through on that commitment. If a player does not alert a TO that they are running late by 15 minutes prior to the event, they will be removed from bracket. Failure to alert a TO about any cancellations will result in a one week ban.
If entry fee is to remain as cheap as it is, players and spectators are expected to clean up after themselves. This includes trash and dishware. Players caught leaving the venue in bad shape will be issued a one week ban.
No outside food and drink in the venue. The venue is kind enough to not charge any fees for using the facility.
Masks are required for tournament entry. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available. COVID cases are rising, and this is the most effective solution until more people are vaccinated and the spread ceases.
More vaccinations mean fewer restrictions on COVID guidelines. It is better to be safe at a tournament than to not have a tournament at all. Players are encouraged to not fist bump and maintain social distancing at the event. Food and drinks should be consumed at the bar or venue tables, and not near the tournament setups.
This will be a bit rough at first for all of us, but this is the most fair and safest way we feel comfortable running these. Please be vocal about how and when we should do anything differently.
